Working at Highbury is incredibly rewarding. We work with amazing children who astound us everyday with their determination, enthusiasm and outlook. There is never a dull moment at Highbury and the rewards we get from supporting children with special education needs to reach their potential are priceless!
We are looking for Teaching Assistants to help support us during the Midday period of the day. Please note that there may be opportunities for additional hours on a casual basis if this is something that would interest you.
There may also be opportunities for additional hours up to full time (32.5 hours, term time only) on a permanent basis. Please indicate on your application form if this is something that you would like us to consider.
We have an excellent team of people who can support you to develop your skills and knowledge in order to be fulfilled and successful in this important role. We would particularly like to hear from staff who may have worked 1:1 with children in mainstream schools and are keen to work in a whole school setting. Equally, we offer high quality training and support for people with the right skills and attitude.
We are a very supportive school who are great at talent spotting and noticing people who have the potential to grow in this role. This is an exciting time as we have recently increased the number of children who attend our school. If you want to be part of our journey you can find out more by visiting our website or Facebook page or booking in for a visit to school.
Highbury is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this position. Prior to interview, please read our Safeguarding Policy which is available on our website. If you have any questions, please contact school by email (email@example.com).
Visits to the school are available by prior arrangement; please contact the school office for available dates. Completed application forms should be returned to school by email only by 12pm on Monday 26th February 2024 to firstname.lastname@example.org.
